Our halibut is caught with longline gear on board the F/V Dangerous Cape, a 58-foot family-owned fishing boat in Homer. All fish comes from a sustainably- managed fishery using responsible fishing methods. We purchase the halibut directly from the fisherman, Erik Velsko. He handles his catch carefully and targets the tasty, small halibut. Not only are these the healthiest halibut for you to eat, but they're the most delicious too! It's processed locally and we oversee the entire process. Traceable from deck to dish, this wild Alaska halibut is truly a treat.

Although we ordered the smaller size Maddie let me know they were out of stock … so we got the larger size cuts —- so nice to have the halibut in our freezer again ! Thank you for all you do !

Very Tasty Halibut

We are usually buyers of your Salmon, but decided to try your Halibut for a change. We were not disappointed as the quality and taste carried over. Now we are fans of the Salmon and Halibut!
We will order both next time.
